In preparation for publishing web content, create a subdirectory of your AFS home
directory called "www". Files put in that directory will be
accessable from the web via the URL:
http://www.hep.wisc.edu/~yourlogin/

To publish web content, configure your web publishing software to use following parameters:
server/host: login.hep.wisc.edu
directory: /afs/hep/home/yourlogin/www
|

At the Unix or Mac OS-X command line, you can use the "sftp" or "scp"
commands to publish web content. Contact me for information about
using SSH with other operating systems.
