I still don't have the delta-x numbers to correct the alignment.
3-layer XFT is gone, and that leaves our Level-1 rate too high.
I ran on min bias data from 177421, with initial luminosity of
1.2 E31. The results are essentially the same as before at 1.0 E31;
with the result that the overall rate w/o scintillator drops by a factor
of 6, the rate with front scintillator by a factor of 5, and the rate
with the rear scintillator by a factor of 4.

I have rate plots as a function of luminosity. I need more entries, especially at high luminosity.
Bob showed plots showing a drop in scintillator efficiency. This is most pronounced in the rear scintillator. There's no noticeable efficiency loss in the toroid scintillators.
We discussed the efficiency of finding Z information, and agreed that it would be good to find out how efficient this is and make it better if possible. pdf
