Slides 19-July-2004

Bob has plots that continue show a strange shift in timing for some runs for the BSU, as seen last week. The new shifts are in a different TDC and have the opposite direction to last week's, but they happened at the same time. Not all channels have the same change, and when he plots the size of the change in t0 vs TDC channel both the east and west TDCs show the same pattern. Does this reflect an effect in the TDC layout, where perhaps a poorly shaped fanned-out stop signal sees different delays due to different paths?

At the meeting we discovered that the east side TDCs were swapped out for a new release of the TDC, and some of the problematic west side TDCs replaced with the newly liberated east side ones. So this is probably only a single bad TDC.
