Lodging Information:

(Note, there are equal room blocks at each hotel, however, due to the rate difference, the Wildwood will fill up first. Please make your reservations early.)

Silvertree Hotel $98.00 (S/DB) Wildwood Lodge $80.00 (S/DB)
The Silvertree Hotel is a full service hotel located in the center of Snowmass Village Plaza. All rooms have coffee makers, refrigerators and hair dryers. The Silvertree has a fully equipped health club (with saunas, and whirlpools), three restaurants, two heated pools, in-room movies and daily maid service.

Complimentary airport transportation to and from the Aspen airport (approximately 10 minutes).

Silvertree General Policies

  • Check-In time is 4:00 pm and Check-Out time is: 10:00 am.
  • Maximum of 4 persons per room.
  • Extra person charge is $25 per night.
  • Children under 12 stay free in same room as parents.
  • Rollway charge is $25 per night.
The Wildwood Lodge is also located in the center of Snowmass Village Plaza. All rooms include refrigerators, hair dryers, coffee makers, in-room movies and daily maid service. There is one restaurant. Included are pool and health club privileges at the Silvertree.

Reservation Information:
  • When making your reservations, you must identify yourself with the group name: LHC PHYSICS CONFERENCE.
  • Rates do not include a 11.5% lodging tax.
  • These rates will be available to our attendees 3 days prior to and following the conference.
  • A one night's deposit is required upon booking your reservation.
  • Cancellations made prior to 7 days from your arrival date are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 7 days will forfeit your full deposit.


Travel

Getting to Aspen

The Aspen airport (ASE) is located 8 miles from Snowmass Village. The following airlines currently service Aspen. Note, check availability carefully. September is shoulder season and not all flight schedules will be available.

Driving from ASE to Snowmass (approximately 10 minutes). Leaving the main airport exit, turn left onto Highway 82 going north. Take a left at the first traffic light onto Brush Creek Road. The two hotel properties are about 3 miles and are located in the main area of Snowmass Village on Elbert lane.

The Silvertree Hotel and Wildwood Lodge provide complimentary shuttle service from the Aspen airport. Phone 970-923-3520 upon arrival at the airport for pickup. There are also courtesy telephones in the baggage claim area.


Getting to Denver

The Denver International Airport (DEN) is located 225 miles from Snowmass Village. This major airport has over 400 daily flights from 75 cities on 13 airlines.

Driving from DEN to Snowmass (approximately 5 hours). Get on I-70 west towards the Rocky Mountains. You will travel 180 miles to Glenwood Springs. At Glenwood Springs, exit onto Highway 82 going south. Snowmass Village is 40 miles. At the traffic light at Brush Creek Road, turn right. The two hotel properties are about 3 miles and are located in the main area of Snowmass Village on Elbert lane.

Due to the uncertain and dangerous conditions of mountain driving, it is not recommended to drive to Aspen by going over Independence Pass. It has an elevation of over 12,000 ft. and may even be closed for the season in mid-September.
