• Steps to add new WNs to the T2 pool

1) Find and assign IP address(es) to the WN(s) : Check available addresses in files “modules/dns/files/hep.wisc.edu/180.92.144.addrs” or “modules/dns/files/hep.wisc.edu/181.92.144.addrs”.#

2) Add WNs into compute nodes list : See –> “modules/cfeng/manifests/groups.pp”#

3) Include in gftp and xrootd nodes list : See –> “modules/cfeng/manifests/groups.pp” #

4) Create condor files : See –> “modules/condor/files/conf”#

5) Include nodes in Puppet's autosign file : See –> “/etc/puppet/autosign.conf” #

6) Create host certs : See –> “modules/certs/files/…”#

7) Create keytabs : See –> “modules/kerberos/files/keytabs/*.hep.wisc.edu.keytab”#
