Lodging

Accommodation has been reserved at Chadbourne Hall on the UW-Madison Campus. More information on the accommodations can be found here: UW Dormitories.

Everyone will be assigned to a single (individual) room. Accommodation is beginning Sunday, July 10, 2011 at noon and will be available until noon on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. If you will arrive before or are staying beyond these dates, please contact the secretariat to make other arrangements if you have not done so already.

Lodging check in: is at the Chadbourne Hall Front Desk. The address of Chadbourne Hall is 420 North Park Street, Madison, Wisconsin 53706-1489. Front Desk Telephone: 608-262-2688.

Restrooms: Sleeping rooms do not have private bathrooms, but facilities serve two to three guest rooms located immediately adjacent. These shared facilities do include private shower and restroom stalls. Men and women will be assigned to separate floors.

Housekeeping: The dormitory will provide daily room service to refresh towels, make beds, and empty trash, except on Sunday.

Computing: All dorm rooms have Wireless Internet connections using DHCP. We will arrange for a UW login and password for you to use to access Wireless in ALL UW buildings.

Desk Services:Chadbourne Hall is staffed with 24-hour desk service on the first floor. Alarm clocks, irons and ironing boards are available for check-out on a first-come, first-served basis. Ethernet cables, television cables, laundry soap, phone cards, stamps and other supplies are available for sale at the desk. Ice machines are located near the hall desk area.

Meals: your registration fee covers all meals (10B-9L-10D). Meals with high quality selection will be served cafeteria style beginning with dinner on July 10 continuing through breakfast on July 20 in the Chadbourne Hall Rheta's dining room. Food may be taken to any of the nearby lounge areas. Breakfast is: 7:45 AM; Lunch is 12:00 PM; and Dinner is 6:00 PM.

Guests: If you will be bringing a guest with you, please contact the secretariat IMMEDIATELY. Your registration fee does NOT cover guest occupancy.

Smoking: is not allowed in any University Facility. You must go outside to smoke.
